An amazing $9,519 was raised by the community during February’s Rally to Keep Our Neighbors Warm at the Oak Hill Fire Station to raise funds for fuel assistance. We appreciate all those who came to the rally, including Scarborough Public Safety personnel for hosting the event with Project GRACE and Eddie Woodin, who issued the fundraising challenge. We would like to thank and recognize our many friends and neighbors for their gifts to the fuel fund, including: Biddeford Savings Bank Blue Point Congregational Church Chicago Dogs Hannaford Supermarket / Scarborough Higgins Beach Association KCV Trailer Rentals Kiwanis Club of Scarborough Pine Point Ladies' Auxiliary Royal Ridge Church of God Saco & Biddeford Savings | Scarborough Lions Club St. Maximilian-Kolbe Church West Scarborough United Methodist Church Nancy Crowell Patricia Mordecai Delphine Palmer Nancy Robinson Donna Stephen Dorothy & John Sutton as well as the many others who gave so generously. |
Saturday, Feb. 6th Oak Hill Fire House (10-Noon) A good friend has challenged us to raise $10,000 on Saturday. If we do, we'll get a $2,000 gift! We've done it before, and can do it again. Can we count on you? Stop by the Rally. If we all give a little, together we can do a lot. Fun, free activities include: touch a truck, make a heart for a senior, raffles, bake sale, demos and displays, and more... Visit www.fuelrally.weebly.com for details. Can't make the rally, consider an online gift today to help us get to goal. We, and those we serve, thank you.
